The rock looks as if it is molded after Byeongpung and there is a mountain fountain around.
Going to the back side of Heungryunsa Temple, there is a small valley in the east. There is a walkway along this valley. There are five mountain fountains. It is called Bamsagol because it was inhabited by many snakes in the past. There no longer exists any snakes today and is a great place to go for a walk.
During the Japanese colonial period, the Japanese made this lake and used to practice cannon shooting using this as a target. Even today, the rock above the fountains has traces of cannon shooting practice.
