Songdo Green Reservoir Park
This is an introduction to the hidden spots and places easy to miss in Yeonsu-gu.
Today, let's talk about Songdo Green Reservoir Park.
Many of you might not know about this park, which opened in 2011.
To reach this park developed by the Waterworks Headquarters of Incheon Metropolitan City requires walking on a rough path, a mountain road along the byway passing the crossroad around Daegun High School (Nonghyup Joint Market).
Still, the park has many strengths!
First, the facilities at Songdo Green Reservoir Park are superb.
Toilets (blue roof) as well as many other facilities are installed near the entrance to provide convenience.
Second, the dulle-gil (trail) passing Mount Cheongnyang and Seunggi Stream to reach Mount Munhak is connected to Songdo Green Reservoir Park.
Third, basketball and jokgu (foot volleyball) courts are adjacent to a jogging track with a bouncy surface to reduce impact on the feet.
Finally, Songdo Green Reservoir Park is near Songdo, which means it has an excellent view! No wonder photographers love the park!
With so many strengths, visitors should take a pet to Songdo Green Reservoir Park for a walk.
But be careful! When going to parks or mountains, make sure your pet has a leash on. Not just because big puppies might scare others but because they need your care.
