Hello, everyone! The favorite food among Koreans are of course Korean food. But it is hard to find a Korean restaurant that satisfies you in both main entrée and side dishes, isn’t it? But! I heard there is a place in Cheongra that can satisfies you in both price and taste. Follow me~!
The clean interior design in wood tone is quite impressive ^.^ It was still early for lunch time, but the restaurant became full not so long after I got there.
They serve you warm water! The reason for serving warm water instead of cold water—you’ll see later! ^.^
I decided to eat Gondeure Dolsot Jeongsik (Thistle stone pot table d’hote), which is known as the best menu in Todam! They have meat as well other than dolsot jeongsik. >.< Next time, I would like to try Chadol doenjang jjigae (Soybean paste stew with beef brisket)~!
My mouth started to drop by awe as the side dishes started to come out! More than ten amazing side dishes. >.< For a Korean food maniac like me, this place is the heaven. Bossam (boiled pork wraps) for basic side dish! Isn’t it amazing?

You thought that was it? No! There comes doenjang jjigae (soybean paste stew)! Smells delicious~
The entrée, dolsot gondeure rice is here. >.< Thistles and mushrooms on top of hot, steaming rice! Shall we try~?!
Firstly, you put gondeure rice on top of this empty plate!
And you pour the warm water in the stone pot! The warm water was served for making nurungji (scorched rice).
Then, you season the gondeure rice with the sauce and mix it around… what an awesome taste! Plain rice, salty doenjang jjigae and rich side dishes! That was very satisfying meal! Everyone! If you are looking for delicious Korean food in inexpensive price, come to Todam, in Cheongra~! ^.^
