Can’t Forget Crab Stew

I’ll introduce you about Can’t Forget Crab Stew (Itjimothae Sanggotgetang) in Songdo, and as its name stands, I still can’t forget about its taste after I experienced the gorgeous food! It seems like this place is popular among the locals, too!

 

This is the menu!  I ordered the medium size of Fresh Crab Stew (San Ggotgetang).  It would be better if the menu contained information about extra add-ons.  They have noodles and fried rice.  Also, it seems like you can order it spicy.  I didn’t know about it so I just ordered ordinary noodle add-on.

And then, here it comes!  Tada!  Gigantic crab stew.. It looks really substantial, isn’t it?

Boil and boil… I couldn’t wait until it boils so I took a sip… and I almost cried.. because it was so good. This kind of things deserve gif image, right?  Ugh, maybe I shouldn’t have!  I want to eat it again!

The crab is very substantial, both its flesh and eggs.  – If you look for reviews for this restaurant, you will see the pictures of crabs just this big.  Where do you get these big crabs?

If you suck out the flesh and have it with rice, you would experience the taste of fantasy…

Now it’s time to mix rice on the crab shell!  It tastes better than anything if you scratch it until the end and eat the mixture of eggs, flesh and rice.

 

This thick crab was endlessly giving me something to eat.

The killer!  Noodles!

It tastes better than those ordinary seafood ramyun.  This is really the best.  It is rare for me to say only good things about the restaurant.  Some people don’t like crabs because they are pretty difficult to eat, but I liked it!  My favorite crab stew restaurant used to be Jinnam Restaurant in Yeosu, but it changed to Can’t Forget Crab Stew in Songdo after I tasted here.  I would visit here again if I have a chance…. It’s pretty cold today, what are you planning for your lunch?  I’m planning to cut my carbohydrates… so maybe hardboiled egg and tomatoes for me… Have a good Monday ♥
