Constructed by Korea Gas Corporation in 1998, inside the gas production plant off the shore of Songdo Island, is the Gas Science Museum, the largest gas science museum of Asia. The museum was opened for the purposes of providing scientific education to the youth, giving local residents a new cultural venue, and giving back socially to the community. At the Gas Science Museum, you can learn everyting about natural gas and energy. From the observatory of the museum, you can also take in a wide-open view of the West Sea.
