[Yeonsu Art Hall]Princess Deokhye

Deokhye was last princess of Korea.

As a child, born in their later years, she was showered with affection by King Kojong.

After the death of the king, her life had changed. 

When she was just 10 years old, the Japanese wanted to educate her in Japan and teach her the Japanese language, culture, and traditions so she was sent to Japan.  

She was also married to the Japanese Royal Family.

There is a performance at the Yeonsu-Gu Art Hall that depicts her life.

This is one of Korea’s most tragic stories.
