There are many people living in Yeonsu that enjoy cycling.

With Spring just around the corner, and the weather getting warmer, we are sure that many cycling enthusiasts will bring their bicycles out for a ride.

For the residents of Yeonsu-Gu,  Yeonsu will be providing insurance for cyclists.

 

If you live in Yeonsu-gu and are a registered resided, you can take advantage of this benefit.

This insurance coverage will be valid until February 2018.

 

The insurance coverage is as follows.

Accidents when riding your bicycle by yourself.

When an accident occurs on your bicycle even when not in movement.

When being hit by a bicycle while walking on the street.

However, for more detailed cases, you should inquire with Yeonsu-gu to find out more information.

 

Compensation details.

Stress disorder or death by bicycle – up to 20,000,000won

A diagnosis requiring more than 4weeks of treatment. – 100,000 to 300,000won

More than 7days of inpatient care requiring – additional 100,000won

 

 

You can request payment within 3 years from accident date, however, you must have documentation from the hospital that you were in the bicycle accident the degree of which you were hurt.

Requests for payment shall be made in Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives.(1599-9010)
