Summer Festival in Yeonsu!

 

 “The 2^nd annual Incheon City Summer Festival” will be held on July 22^nd through August 6^th for 16 days at the Moonlight Park in Yeonsugu, Incheon.

The theme of the festival is “islands and beaches of Incheon Songdo”.  Incheon City and     Yeonsu-gu are encouraging people to enjoy staycations, as there is a lot to enjoy in Korea, especially Yeonsu-Gu!

The Festival will consist of a manmade white sand beach and two water facilities for children to enjoy. There will be different types of water activities for people to enjoy including row boats and kayaks.

On the opening day, there will be a concert on July 22. Throughout the weekend to celebrate the opening, there will also be many performances and a number of entertainment programs for people to enjoy.

The Festival will also consist of an “island promotion center” which is aimed to educate families and children on the many islet features in Incheon.

During the festival tents for camping will be allowed, however, cooking is prohibited.

This will be a great festival for people of all ages to enjoy! Make sure to make some time during the festival period to come down to the Yeonsu-gu Moonlight Park!
