Hanok was built in the 14th century for the first time during the Joseon Dynasty. But it’s quite smart although it was built a long time ago. For example, it was able to control the temperature by using special floors such as 'Ondol' for heating and 'Maru' for cooling. In Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, there is a Hanok Village hotel you can experience the traditional Hankok vibes.
