This Friday, the 5th is Arbor Day! On Arbor day, individuals and communities are encouraged to plant trees. We in Yeonsu-Gu will be participating in this very important day. Here are some details below.
Those who live in large cities, have probably not planted a tree before. If you haven’t and would like to or have but would like to participate, here is your chance to plant a tree and make a difference!
On April 5, from 3PM to 5PM, we will be planting trees on Bongjae Mountain. It is not a difficult mountain to climb. Please come and join us!
Also, on April 10, from 4PM to 5PM at Munhak Park in front of the Outdoor Concert Hall, if you would like to have your own tree to take care of, we will be handing out trees on a first come basis.
There will be different types that you will be able to choose from.
As trees become a more and more important part of our daily lives, we hope that you take part in planting trees with Yeonsu-Gu this Arbor Day!
