Labor Day in Korea

 

Labor Day in Korea is celebrated

on May 1.

 

This year, it is this Wednesday.

South Korea commemorates this day and

has been observed since the 1960’s.

 

Labor Day is not

a national holiday in Korea,

however, there are many businesses,

factories, and offices which

observe May 1. 

 

On Labor Day,

transportation should run as normal,

and shopping malls,

marts, etc should all still be running

on the same schedule. 

 

There may be some government offices

and banks that may be closed,

so should you need to have

any official work completed,

you should definitely check first.
