Introduction of Yeonsu-gu’s Childbirth Encouragement Policies - Yeonsu-gu’s Paternity Leave Grant Program

 

Yeonsu-gu’s Paternity Leave Grant Program
Yeonsu-gu operates the Paternity Leave Grant Program to encourage childbirth and promote work-life balance in the local community by encouraging paternity leave for male employees and alleviating the financial burden of

child care.

 

Eligible condition for support 

Male employees taking paternity leave after January 1, 2020 Support amount KRW 500,000 per month

(for maximum six months)


Conditions to apply (All the following conditions must be met)
1. Registered as a resident of Yeonsu-gu continuously for a year or longer as of the date of application
2. The baby for paternity leave is registered as a resident of Yeonsugu as of the date of application
3. Meeting the payment requirements according to Article 70 (Child -Care Leave Benefits) 

of the Employment Insurance Act

 

※ Taxpayers subject to special treatment in taxation from child care leave benefits (according toArticle 95-2 of Enforcement Decree of the Employment Insurance Act), are eligible for the grant as of the fourth month, following the three months’ payment of the child care leave benefits, for the next six months.


Documents to submit 

Notice of payment of child care leave benefits, a copy or abstract of resident registration, a copy of bankbook, identification card Date of payment 20th of the next month after the date of application (deposit to bank account)
