Chabom Incheon Dasong Tea Cultural Center
Warm wooden architecture and traditional Korean teaware welcome you upon your arrival at Chabom
Incheon Dasong Tea Cultural Center (Chabom). Chabom, located in Cheonghak Village, is a unique
cafe-type cultural center where you can learn about traditional culture while experiencing a tea ceremony and the natural dyeing process. Jo Myeong-sun, holder of the 11th Intangible Cultural Asset of Incheon Metropolitan City, Gyubang Darye or ‘tea culture in
the women’s quarters,’ provides various experiential and educational programs, including ‘etiquette for tea.’ CEO Jo has filled Chabom with elegant but modest teaware gathered with a sense of mission and pride for traditional culture. From the moment you enter Chabom, the experience of entering a different culture begins. Offering the charm of a pleasant traditional experience, Chabom is open to residents and tourists alike.
