On the 24th, 26th, and 28th, the "5th International Conference of UNESCO Learning Cities (ICLC)" was hosted with representatives of elementary, middle, high school, and special education institutions in the region attending.
The meeting was held as an online video conference with a total of 100 representatives, including 33 from elementary schools and affiliated kindergartens, 18 from middle schools, 18 from high and special schools, 2 from public kindergartens, and 29 from private kindergartens.
The meeting was a place to discuss the 5th ICLC overview and main topics of the UNESCO Promotion Team in Yeonsu-gu, and related projects, including lifelong education in Yeonsu-gu, and to discuss ways to promote events in the future.
Yeonsu-gu plans to establish a Lifelong Learning City training district after successfully hosting the 5th ICLC by continuing to share opinions with educational institutions in the region.
