[Yeonsu news] Yeonsu-gu signed an ICLC Accommodation Service Agreement with 8 hotels

Establishing a cooperative system to provide comfortable services for all participants.

Preparing for guests: Agreements were made with Kyung-Won-Jae, Oakwood, and Sheraton.

 

Yeonsu-gu signed an agreement with 8 hotels to provide smooth accommodation services for ICLC participants, during the 5th UNESCO International Conference on Learning Cities, which will be held in Songdo, Yeonsu-gu, for 4 days from October 27th.

 

Yeonsu-gu and the hotels will share necessary information and establish a cooperative system to provide comfortable accomodation services for all participants during the event.

 

Yeonsu-gu will prepare a support plan for the smooth operation of accomodations within the administrative, and institutional scope, and will provide the best services along with discounted prices for the hotels.

 

Yeonsu-gu signed a mutual agreement with 8 hotels, including 4 and 5 star hotels, to successfully host the ICLC at 3:30p.m. on July 2nd on 3F of the Yeonsu-gu Office.

 

Ko Nam-Seok, the Mayor of Yeonsu-gu, ICLC officials, and general managers and hotel officials, attended the ceremony and promised to provide world-class hotel and accommodation services.

 

The hotels are Kyungwonjae Ambassador, Oakwood Premier Incheon,Sheraton Grand Incheon, Orakai Songdo Park, Central Park Hotel Songdo, Holiday Inn Songdo, Hotel Skypark Songdo, Ramada Songdo.

 

Yeonsu-gu will support and cooperate with the officials’ on-site activities, volunteers, and agencies, to ensure that all participants' accommodation services are carried out smoothly.

 

The 5th ICLC with the title of ‘Go Beyond Coping, a New Leap Forward’ is the largest lifelong learning related event in the world, and will be attended by 193 UNESCO member states, 229 GNLC member cities from 64 countries, 183 representatives of lifelong learning cities in Korea, officials, and citizens.

The official logo and mascot are being confirmed with the launch of an advisory committee and pre-registration is in progress until August 31. This event is expected to be Korea’s first international event in the post-COVID-19 era.
