Yeonsu-gu provides mental counseling and one-stop service business tailored to the characteristics of survivors of suicide for the bereaved families who are experiencing difficulties due to the sudden suicide of family members and relatives.
This ‘One-Stop Service for Survivors of Suicide Loss’ provides counseling for the mental health of the survivors. If necessary, treatment and drug prescriptions can be provided at psychiatric hospitals and clinics through the financial support project conducted by the Korea Respect for Life Foundation.
In addition, by providing services such as legal administration, special cleaning, posthumous administration, and student grants, Yeonsu is making great efforts to relate to the psychological and economic pain of the bereaved to cope with various environmental problems that may arise from the sudden death of a family member.
Moreover, the bereaved families who suffer from pain in the Incheon area are helping each other to heal by linking the accountability group to sympathize with one another and share the pain healing process.
The Yeonsu Mental Health Welfare Center provides counseling services to not only the survivors of suicide, but also to local residents who are experiencing psychiatric problems.
