Woninjae, the ritual house of the Incheon Lee family where the essence of a traditional Korean-style house can be enjoyed
Designated Incheon Cultural Property Material No. 5, this home is where the grave of Lee Heo-gyeom is located at. Lee was the member of the Inju Lee family, a powerful maternal family of the king during the mid-Goryeo Dynasty. Woninjae gently stands right in the middle of downtown. On May 16, a traditional comingof-age ceremony is scheduled at Woninjae, and every Saturday, an etiquette school holds a class there. Every Wednesday morning in June, events are held that allow visitors to enjoy traditional Korean culture such as hopscotch and making five-color tops.
