September of Two Seasons

September has come.
Summer is still here,
And autumn is peeping and hovering,
Not able to cross the threshold just yet.
But, September has come with long steps.
Summer isn’t the only one who can’t yet leave.
The last sorrowful cry of cicadas,
Bursting out after a long wait of seven years.
The sky is dazzlingly blue,
And the sun shines through the sky.
With summer and autumn in each hand,
September has come back.
