Install emergency bells at women’s toilets in five parks

“A park is a rest area where many people visit day and night. Yet I don’t feel comfortable using the public toilets in the park when there aren’t many people. Maybe because it’s dark and there aren’t many ways to ask for help when an emergency happens. I was relieved to hear that emergency bells were installed at the park toilets. I was touched by the Yeonsu-gu administration, thoroughly taking care of the smallest things for people. Please continue to work hard to make a safer and better Yeonsu-gu.”

Set up and operate unmanned systems to check mental health

I’m tired and exhausted every day. However, it felt kind of uncomfortable to visit a hospital. Then I heard that an unmanned mental health check-up system was installed at the gu office, and I decided to use it. The system provides information on mental health, conducts related tests and even recommends a secondary consultation or meeting with a specialist based on the test results. I think it’s wonderful.”

“Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, people visit me with delicious and fresh side dishes that they prepared themselves. They visit me with smiles on their faces, and talk to me like they would to friends while preparing meals with love. I really want to thank them. They make me the most delicious foods in the world!”

Donate bicycles to “Sharing Happiness Movement”

I’d like to make a suggestion! Walking down the street, I find many bicycle stands that have many bicycles that have been abandoned. Some of them are rusty and wrecked. They don’t look so good. Why don’t we take the unused and unclaimed bicycles, repair and repaint them, and give them to children who need bicycles? It makes me happy just thinking about children who will joyfully ride bicycles with new paint on. I look forward to the warm administration of Yeonsu-gu, which can turn even wrecked bicycles into hope.
