Neungheodae Cultural Festival





Neungheodae is an ancient port is located in Ongnyeon-dong, Incheon.

It was a port during the Baekjae period, the Three Kingdom Era.

Through this dock, Baekje sent envoys to China.

Now, Neungheodae is surrounded by apartments and buildings.

By the looks of it today, you would never know that in ancient Korea, it was used as a port.  






Neungheondae was designated as a cultural heritage location by the government in 1990.

Every year, Yeonsu-Gu holds the Neunghuhdae Cultural Festival to recognize, remember, and celebrate this historical site.








 

This year, Neungheodae Festival will be held on October 1st and 2nd.

There will be many different activities, foods, music, concerts, and parades for people to enjoy.

Don’t miss this exciting cultural festival!
