“Happy Yeonsu, where dreams come true”
6th popular vote Lee Jaeho district chief inauguration
This past June 6, Lee Jaeho, elected as the chief of yeonsu-gu by the 6th local populations elections, was inaugurated and officially began his duties.
On the 1st at 10am at the yeonsu-gu office auditorium, Yeonsu-gu held the inauguration with about 600 participants in attendance, including social organizations, administrative heads of local government, local residents, government employees, etc.
On this day of the inauguration, the 6th elections were celebrated with the district residents and held in a simple yet substantial manner to further the environment of harmony and to improve the district’s status while giving the district residents hope.
The inauguration began with a performance by the yeonsu-gu’s art company and was followed by the pledge of allegiance, personal introductions, administration of the oath of office and the inaugural address, recitation of the president’s congratulatory message, and a celebratory performance by the yeonsu-gu’ women chorus.
The chief of yeonsu-gu Lee Jaeho’s inaugural address expressed the district’s policy direction when he stated, “Everyone should reconcile and harmonize with one mind for a happy district and adopt ‘happy Yeonsu, where dreams come true’ as the to district policy so as to promote a ‘public office that serves the district residents, and achieve Yeonsu-gu’s dreams along with other public officials who are trusted by the residents that are served.”
At 7am prior to the inauguration, the chief of yeonsu-gu Lee Jaeho also spent a busy first day as he paid respects at the Hyeonchungtap Memorial Tower with heads of the local government and executive public officials, visited the national safety facility joint security area, visited the district council and briefing room, signed the office change-over, toured the district’s each department, etc.
