Everyone is aware that smoking is bad for your health 

and that it can have many side effects. 

However, 

did you know that second hand smoking is more harmful 

than smoking?

We care about the citizens of Yeonsu-Gu 

and we would like to do something about this. 

From April 25 to May 1, 2016 

we will be visiting facilities, restaurants, 

meeting areas, and public areas 

to make sure that everyone is abiding 

by the no smoking rules and regulations.

 

 

Yeonsu-Gu will be patrolling areas 

where there are a lot of children and students. 

Stairwells, restrooms, 

and public facilities will be checked.

 

Yeonsu-Gu will be making sure that 

the proper signs are in place, and 

that the no smoking stickers are visible. 

For those businesses and buildings that are 

not abiding by the law, 

they will be fined.

These fines are not only limited to businesses. 

People that are not abiding 

by the law and smoking 

in no smoking areas will also be fined.

 

Yeonsu-Gu believes that 

everyone has a right to breathe clean fresh air.

and healthy Yeonsu-Gu!
