To celebrate WED, Yeonsu-Gu will have an art contest!

June 5^th is World Environment Day, 

and to celebrate this Yeonsu-Gu will have 

an art contest!

World Environment Day (WED) is observed every year 

on 5 June to raise global awareness. 

WED is sponsored by UNEP, 

and it aims to inspire people to take action 

to prevent the growing strain on our planet.

 

In observance of WED,

 and help Yeonsu-Gu citizens become more aware of our environment, 

we will be having an art contest aimed at teaching children 

about the environment and green growth.

 

Contest Period

From May 9^th to May 20^th

 

Candidates

Elementary students living in Yeonsu-gu.

 

Theme

Climate change or Low-carbon green growth.
