2016 Yeonsu Fringe Festival : Gathering of Young Artists

Yeonsugu has been hosting the <Yeonsu Fringe Festival> since 2013.

It is held every month on the last Wednesday of the month.  

 

You may be wondering what a Fringe Festival is. 

It is a festival that promotes a cultural community of young artists.

The festival will include a street performance at Yeonsugu’s parks.

 

For this month, You-hee Company will be sharing traditional performances for everyone to enjoy.

You-hee means spreading happiness. 

We hope you are able to soak in some of this happiness through the performances!

They will be playing Janggu, Buk, Jing, Kkwaenggwari and Sogo.

 

The performances will be held at Dongmak Park.

Traditional music is an important part of the Korean culture

 and is still widely enjoyed by the people of Korea.
