Cat Cafe in Songdo

Pet cafes in Korea have always been popular. People love going to these cafes to play with little furry animals. There is a cat café that has opened in Songdo which is attracting a lot of attention.

 

 

This cat café is located in Dream city. Once you get off the elevator on 3^rd level, you will see this sign that will lead you to the café.

Its not too hard to find.  

There is entrance fee for each person. Beverage or snacks for cats is included in the entrance fee. So you can choose 1 beverage from the menu.

Adults - 9000 won

Students – 7000 won

 

 

 You are able to choose a beverage or snack for the cats, however, if you choose the beverage, you can also buy a snack for an additional charge.

 

Snacks

Chicken breast jerky : 2000won

Can snack : 3000won (includes a spoon to feed with)

 

 

 

The café itself is pretty spacious so that the cats have room to roam around and play. They are able to wander around as they please and play on the different structures. They also have toys for the cats to play with.

 

You can get this toy from owner for free to play with cats. If you move around with this toy on the floor, they pretend the toy is a rat. The cats are very friendly as they are use to visitors. They cuddle up to you and pose for pictures too!

 

 

 

* Precautions *

There are some precautions for those who visit this café.

1.    Please pet them gently. Don’t hug them forcefully.

2.    Please don’t pet them when they are eating or drinking something.

3.    Please check your bag or coat in at the counter. – Cats can pee on your belongings!

4.    When you give snacks to the cats, please make sure they do not try to snap at your hands!

5.    Please don’t feed them human food.  

 

This is a great place to take your kids if they are not allergic to cats. Also, a fun place for anyone that loves animals to hang out!
