Summer Health Tips

Since terrible heat wave is going on, it makes us feel depressed, lose appetite and unable to sleep properly. That's why, these days, health care is being considered as important. Here are some tips that we can spend a healthy summer!




Drink plenty of water

 




Even if you don't feel thirsty during the heat wave, you should drink water regularly. It’s important to keep yourself hydrated by drinking eight to nine glasses of water a day. Make sure to avoid caffeinated drinks as they can interfere with your water intake!

 

 


Always apply sunscreen

 




UV rays can be very harmful and fatal. Apply sunscreen products of at least SPF 30 to protect your skin. Try not to be in the sun between 10am and 4pm to minimize exposure to UV radiation. If you’re in the sun for a long time, don’t forget to reapply sunscreen every two hours. 

 

 


Taking Frequent Breaks

 




You'd better take a rest indoors, if possible, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the hottest time zone. Also, if you find any symptoms of dizziness, headache, nausea, etc., move to a cool place immediately and rest. It is more efficient to take short breaks frequently than to continue for long periods of time.
