[Songdo] Hearty Budae Jjigae (Sausage Stew) Restaurant, The Train

[Songdo]

Hearty Budae Jjigae (Sausage Stew) Restaurant, The Train

Hello~ There is an unique Budae Jjigae restaurant in Songdo.

It is called “the Train”, and its design fits its name, I heard.

Then, let’s follow Mingna and look around the Train!

My friend was telling me that she wants to eat budae jjigae since long ago, so I looked up on budae jjigae in Songdo.

And this place looked outstanding, so we decided to go to the Train in Songdo!

At first… my friend always pays attention to interior design.

She doesn’t care much if the place is familiar restaurant, but she has to scan around the new ones…

like an eagle in the sky.

She was looking around for a while, and she liked it!  She said, it’s pleasant and clean.

I guess its decoration concept is a train, like its name.

Maybe this is American style?  Maybe British?

I never went outside Korea, lol  So, I’ll just say it looks…. Foreign.

The floor looks like underground passageway.

The owner decorated this place with the greatest care.

And.. you must be Dongyang Magic!

Beansprouts!  My favorite!  I finished the first dish, and ordered one more.  Teehee

We don’t like white kimchi!  We didn’t touch it at all.

Maybe I should at least try next time.

My love, kkakdugi (sliced radish kimchi).  I always refill my kkakdugi.

I didn’t order extra ingredients, but the soup was full of ham.

I don’t like ham that much but I cherry-picked the round ones.

Oh, also, there were lots of rice cakes inside.

I’m waiting it to boil….. I hate waiting!

You have to pour soup on ham.  Or it won’t be fully cooked.  Quickly Quickly

Personally, I enjoyed the food.

My friend was little bit doubtful about the food on her first bite,

because it tasted more like kimchi jjigae, rather than budae jjigae.

But as the soup brewed more and more, the budae jjigae flavor came strong.

How should I say… it was clean taste.  It wasn’t thick at all.

I didn’t leave a drop of soup.  I completely finished mine.

But, perhaps, if you don’t like kimchi, you won’t like it.

I love kimchi, so I enjoyed it.

Anyways, if you let the soup to brew out for a long time, it becomes delicious budae jjigae.

Workers there are very nice, too

We ordered the basic menu~  without ordering any extra.

2 spicy budae jjigae.

Ham is from Denmark.  I guess I experienced Northern European ha,.

I guess domestic ham is too expensive!

There were more groups of families rather than friends.  Of course, with their children!

Next time, I should try Johnson soup.  I wonder how it would taste like.
