Whenever You Want to Have Some Jukkumi, Songjjujip

Koreans’ favorite: spicy flavor!

Among Korean spicy foods, jukkumi (small octopus) is really popular recently.

I heard there is a jukkumi restaurant in Songdo that is awarded second place in contest last November, so I visited in person.

Songjjujip is already approved by many celebrities;

a lot of celebrities starting from SK Wyverns players to superstars left their autographs. :D

Songjjujip is also officially recognized as good restaurant by Yeonsu-gu.

They were second place in the 6th Yeonsu-gu Cooking Contest; that tells everything, right?

I asked concept of restaurant to the owner.  Then he thought for a long time and said, it’s having comfortable spaces for every group of customers.

That’s how classy jukkumi restaurant that fits Songdo International City is built!

As the restaurant focused on family-oriented interior design, there are small but many considerations for little kids.

Do you see this cute chair for babies?

Now then, it’s time to try Songjjujip’s main menu, jukkumi!

They don’t use frozen octopus.  They ripen octopuses every day to bring out the best taste!

Also, they use 8 kinds of oriental medicine to make their seasoning.  Then they cook the food on caldron lid, so the depth of the food is much deeper.

There are many restaurants where you can wrap meat with naengmyeon (cold noodles) but there is nowhere but here where you can wrap jukkumi with naengmyeon and eat.

The combination of cold naengmyeon and spicy jukkumi was so awesome.

You can enjoy tea time after your meal here.

Isn’t it appealing here?

How about jukkumi for dinner with your family this weekend?
