Cities have also invested money into help revitalize these markets and businesses to attract more people. There are many foods and products thtat can be found at these markets. It is a unique part of Korea that many Korean people still enjoy and visitors find intriguing when the visit. In Yeonsu-Gu, there is a very popular market called the Onnyeon Market. It is locate in Ongnyeon-dong in Yeonsu-Gu. It is not too big market, however, there are many different types of foods, fruits, vegetables, and products available. There are a lot of young people that have shops inside of the market, so in comparison to other traditional markets, it is a but more livelier and energetic.

 

The market has a glass roof, that protects the shops and visitors from bad weather.

Here is a banchan shop within the market. As you can see it has all the Korean side dishes you could imagine! All of these are cooked daily with fresh ingredients which attracts a lot of people to purchase to put on their dinner tables.

 

There are also a lot of fruits that you can purchase. Most of the fruits that you find here are all grown in Korea and are quite fresh. They are in season fruits so sweet as well!

There is also a lot of seafood you can purchase. From fish to shrimp, clams and octopus, all the different types of seafoods that are found in Korean dishes can be bought here.
