Yeonsu-gu establishes emergency medical treatment 

protocols for the Lunar New Year holidays

 

 

 

In order to make provision for emergency patients, prevent holdback of treatments for general patients, and to minimize medical inconvenience of residents, Yeonsu-gu community health center will establish emergency medical treatment protocols that designate medical facilities and pharmacies on duty during the Lunar New Year holidays. 

 

Two local emergency medical facilities (Incheon Red Cross Hospital, Nazareth International Hospital), three hospitals, 59 medical clinics, and 67 pharmacies will be designated as medical facilities and pharmacies on duty. This measure will assist residents in receiving treatments and purchasing medicines or medical supplies. In addition, the public health center will hold emergency medical consultation hours on Wednesday, February 18th, from 9AM to 6PM.

Meanwhile, Yeonsu-gu is planning to setup and operate the ‘Emergency Medical Treatment Situation Room’ at the public health center during the holidays in order to handle emergencies by providing information on the medical facilities and pharmacies on duty and confirming their operational status.
