Smokeless & Odorless Eco-friendly preventive sterilization measures introduced

- Improvement in economic efficiency, effectiveness, and stability -

Yeonsu-gu(Ward chief Jaeho Lee) Community Health Center has newly introduced an eco-friendly preventive sterilization measure. Compared to the previous method of smoke sterilization by combining with diesel, this new approach uses eco-friendly ultrafine(ULV) spray and smoke sterilization that compresses and sprays a mixture of water and medical compounds. 

Since this newly adopted sterilization process does not produce a veil of smoke(smokescreen), it is advantageous in that it reduces the possibility of traffic accidents due to drivers or passengers losing visibility; therefore, it can be used both day and night. Moreover, since the process dilutes medical compounds in water, it does not evaporate easily and remains for a longer period of time. Thus, it is widely accepted that the new method is more economically efficient, effective, and stable.

Yeonsu-gu Community Health Center’s official commented “Since the eco-friendly sterilizer does not produce smoke, it will not impede traffic flow and be more safe. We will further publicize the advantages of the new method and do our best in preventive sterilization measures so that residents can enjoy a comfortable summer season.”
