Best 3 Places to view the Spring Flowers in Yeonsu-Gu!

 

If you have been out and about, you are probably aware that the cherry blossoms have bloomed! Although the weather has been a but rainy the past few days, with better weather to come you should not miss your opportunity to see the beautiful cherry blossoms. We would like to recommend three places to see these beautiful flowers!

 

          Central Park

Central park is one of the most famous parks in Yeonsu-gu! There are variety of spring flowers here which includes cherry blossoms. Some of the flowers you will be able to see through April and early May, however the cherry blossoms may not last that long so we recommend you make your trip to Central Park soon! 

The park has a beautiful walking course as well as a water shuttle for those that want to try. There are also canoe rides that you can take as well. Spring is the perfect time to visit this park, we are sure you will absolutely love it!

   

       Haedoji Park

Haedoji park is another large park in Yeonsu-gu in the heart of Songdo. It has a lake in the middle of the park and also features a library and play area for children. This is a popular park to take a stroll around and is a great place to enjoy the sunset. Here you will also be able to see the spring flowers in full bloom!  

The best part about Haedoji Park is the hill connected to park. If you are to go up on the hill you will be able to see Songdo in one view.  

We strongly recommend you visit this park during the spring and enjoy the natural surroundings! 

Streets Around Yeonsu-gu

The streets around Yeonsu-gu are filled with Cherry Blossom trees. If you are driving we suggest you try and take some of the side roads near the apartment structures to view the beautiful trees! 

    

     There is a street called “Beotkkot-ro” in Yeonsu-gu. Beotkkot means cherry blossom. This street is filled with cherry blossoms     

     during the spring and there are many people that come here to take photos.

     Our suggestion is to stop by this street and head down to one of the parks or even both parks to take advantage of the        

     wonderful spring weather!
