As you may know, Korean people believe education standards must be high and work hard towards providing their children with a great education.
Incheon and Yeonsu is no different. We believe that our children our the country’s future and by educating children we are investing in the future of the country. Many people move to Yeonsu in Incheon due to the quality education offered by schools in the district and has known for its great schools and education systems.
Yeonsu believes that books also play a large role in providing an intellectual atmosphere for children. That is why we think libraries are an important part of a city.
Currently there are 9 public libraries in Yeonsu including an international library and 20 private libraries.
To rent books from the public library, you will need a card. Once you have a library card, you can use it throughout Korea.

You are also able to use the digital library with this card as well. In the digital library there are computers, DVD’s and data base you can have access too.
If you would like to use a computer, it is recommended that you make a reservation at the Kiosk in the digital library.
In addition, you are able to utilize the reading room and cultural programs at the public library
