The Daycare Center Association and the Childcare Support Center Association of Yeonseo-gu, joined by the ICLC, will hold the Infant Family’s Child Love Festival in the ‘World Citizen Lifelong Learning Expo’, a linked event of the Fifth UNESCO International Conference on Learning Cities (hereafter “ICLC”) that will be held at Songdo Convensia from Oct. 27, Wednesday through Oct. 30, Saturday.
The Daycare Center Association and the Childcare Support Center Association of Yeonseo-gu come together to jointly conduct the untact contest and exhibition.
The Infant Family’s Child Love Festival is themed as ‘Earth keeper,’ which carries the meaning of evoking the importance of climate change response, care for environment, and environment among infants, being consistent with the ICLC’ theme of ‘Beyond Response To New Leap.’ The festival will offer multiple programs, such as ‘Draw Ggree’ and ‘Promise Challenge of Earth Keeper.’
“We are making this event more meaningful with the child participating in the ICLC event hosted by Yeonsu-gu to learn the importance of environment,” said an official from the Daycare Center Association, adding, “I hope that we can return to our everyday life filled with the child’s smile.”
Meanwhile, the Yeonsu-gu Daycare Center Association consists of three subcommittee (government support, private, home), being committed to helping infants grow safely and healthily at public childcare sites, and the Childcare Support Center provides childcare support services for the support and management of local daycare centers and the in-home child raising by a guardian.
