In preparation for the 5th UNESCO Learning Cities International Conference (ICLC) which will be held for next 4 days from the 27th, YEONSU-gu will conduct special inspection for infrastructure and facilities for the urban development zone (DONGCHUN 1, 2, SONGDO Station area and SONGDO DAEWOO Motor Sales Corporation) for 11 days from 20th October to 30th October.
This inspection is scheduled to be carried out in the participation of the implementer (association), supervisory group, etc. The subjects are the progress of infrastructure construction in the urban development zone, whether the road is damaged or deformed, city landscape-damaging facilities like safety fence damage, etc.
In addition, preventing the spreading of COVID-19, compliance with quarantine rules, personal hygiene conditions of workers, etc. at construction sites within urban development projects will also be checked up.
YEONGU-gu officials said, "We have asked the project executors and staffs concerned to make sure the 5th ICLC event can be successfully held. Through this special inspection, we will do our best to minimize inconvenience of visitors’ transport and create clean urban landscape."
