For a total of 3 hours starting 2 pm, Professor Min-sun Shin of Seoul Women's University gave a special lecture on the lifelong learning network, introduced each institution, and communicated expectations about the future network by each institution through Zoom.

Following the opening remarks, the Mayor of Yeonsu started with a greeting, and for about an hour, there was a special lecture on the lifelong learning network using Gwangmyeong as an example case, as well as sharing the direction of the Yeonsu lifelong learning city promotion system.

In addition, under the guidance of coach Seung-hee Park of the Action Learning Group, a network workshop consisting of introducing an organization to each other and having network expectations was completed for lifelong education institutions and organizations.

As the workshop was conducted online, participants registered via application form through an official letter or e-mail (kjs5360@korea.kr) from the 7th to the 13th prior to the workshop.

Meanwhile, Yeonsu has established a basic plan for establishing a lifelong learning city promotion system in order to establish a lifelong learning promotion system starting 2021 to the village level, and is working hard to create networks for each district in Yeonsu.

An official from Yeonsu said, “Active network participation by each institution and communication for future roles have helped the development of lifelong learning for residents. In the future, we plan to expand the number of participating institutions in the network to vitalize the lifelong learning network.”
