With the support of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL), Yeonsu jointly publishes a collection of activities of UNESCO GNLC (Global Learning Cities Network) GCED cluster cities with Larissa, Greece.
This collection is part of the 2021 Global Citizenship Education Cluster activity project, proposed by Yeonsu, in which Professor Ted Fleming of Columbia University in New York participated.
Keynote speeches and opinions of citizen education experts discussed at the 2020 cluster international conference, as well as examples of global citizenship education by city, are included to explore the importance of global citizenship education and cooperation for continuous implementation.
Published under the title of 「Citizen Education for a Democratic and Sustainable Community,」 this activity collection is written in three languages: Korean, English, and Greek as a paper book and PDF version.
This collection will be distributed through the book launching event at the Global Network of Learning Cities Lifelong Learning Expo booth, which is a side event of the 5th UNESCO International Conference on Learning Cities on October 29th and 30th. The PDF version will be distributed in November through the UIL website and the official website of Yeonsu.
