Implementation of a demonstration business in order to create work for marriage-based immigrants

For 2 days from this past August 23rd, Yeonsu-gu’s multicultural family support center ‘Harmony House’ and Yeonsu-gu’s town business ‘Jjokbit Chaehum Town’ hosted a residents’ experience and bazaar at the NC Cube located in Songdo International City and received positive response from the residents.

This business was related to social enterprise (town business, social enterprise, societal cooperation combination, etc.) and aimed to create stable incomes and employment through supporting the development of vulnerable social groups’ employment opportunities. This business plans to be regularly implemented once a month (the month’s second Saturday, Sunday) at supermarkets within the jurisdiction, local festivals, and other areas where residents gather in large numbers. For detailed information, please contact the Employment Creation Division (☎749-8481).

Yeonsu-gu plans to try its best to build a livable economic city through continued social enterprise excavation, rearing, and employment support policies for employment opportunities for vulnerable social groups.
