As we start to hit
the peak of summer
and look for places to stay cool,
there are a few things
that you should take precaution
to and be aware of.
Be Aware
During the summer months,
one of things to do
when heading outdoors is
to be aware of what
the weather will be like that day.
You can do so by tuning in
to the news or looking online
before you head out.
There are days that
the heat will peak and
you will either want to stay indoors
or stay very much hydrated
so this is always good information
to know.
If you feel as though
you have severe dehydration
you should visit a doctor
immediately.
Too Cool
During the summer months,
due to the extreme heat,
people tend to turn down the AC
to low temperatures.
However,
this is not good for your health.
If you remain in
an air conditioned area
with very low temperatures,
it can be cause for colds
and sicknesses.
Be Aware of Foods
Taking a closer look at
what you eat is very important.
In the summer,
foods go bad easily.
There are foods that
you should stay away from
in the summer seasons
such as raw seafood
that have a tendency
to go bad faster.
Also, food should not be left out
for long periods of time
as it will start to form bacteria quickly.
Please remember these points
while enjoying your summer!
Also remember to stay hydrated
by drinking a lot of water!
Also, it may be wise to stay
indoors from 2PM-5PM
as it gets really hot
during these hours!
If you have young kids or elderly
please pay special attention
to them during these months!
