There is a typhoon coming towards Korea.

As the weather starts

to shift from summer to fall,

 

we are expecting

another typhoon this weekend.

 

Typhoon Lingling,

is the 13th one this season.

 

It is expected to gain strength

when as it approaches

the Korean Peninsula. 

 

During typhoon season,

there are several ways to prepare.

Here is a checklist! 

 

Build an emergency kit and

make a family emergency plan.

Know your surroundings

nd whether where you are at

it is flood prone. 

Determine an evacuation plan

in case needed. 

 

If you live in a house,

secure any furniture

or materials that may fly around

in strong winds.

 

Make sure the tress outside

your home are trimmed

so that they don’t break off

and fly around. 

 

There may be power outages

so have candles prepared. 

 

There are many other ways

to prepare as well

so please do your research

ahead of time! 

 

It should be a wet weekend

so please stay indoors and safe!
