In Korea, we have seen a rise in the number of international marriages. Multicultural families are an important part of our country now and to make it easier for families to adjust, there are many policies aimed at helping multicultural families adjust a little easier.
In Yeonsugu, we also hold this important and would like to share that there is a multicultural family support center here. It is a center which helps families in various ways, allowing families to adjust a little easier. If you are part of a multicultural family living in Yeonsugu you are welcome to use the center. Here are some of the programs that we provide.
"Integrated Education"
This program offers education programs in various fields. From learning about social norms to educating your children in Korea, there are many educational programs which help families understand how to acclimate to Korean society.
If living in Korea is new to you, this is a great way to help you or your family adjust. There are also many different gatherings as well. There are small gatherings where members are married to foreigners, couples gatherings, family gatherings, interpreter gatherings, and many more. Just come and look for a gathering that may suit you and your family.
